Keeping the
Tradition Alive
For generations, Gracie Mansion hosted an annual Puerto Rican Heritage Celebration to honor the culture, history, and contributions of Puerto Ricans in New York City — held every June.
This year, when the traditional celebration was no longer welcomed at Gracie Mansion, our community decided to continue the tradition ourselves because our culture, history, and people deserve to be celebrated.

Community-Led & Community-Owned
Puerto Ricans helped shape New York City and opened doors for Latino communities across the city. We will continue honoring our heritage, our music, our food, and our unity for future generations.

Our culture, history, and people deserve to be celebrated openly and proudly. This celebration welcomes everyone — Puerto Rican, Latino, and all supporters of cultural unity and community empowerment.
